About

Hello I’m Rosanna and I offer yoga classes including; pregnancy yoga classes, mum and baby yoga classes, postnatal and parents yoga classes, children’s yoga classes, and yoga for all classes. My yoga classes are in Hampshire and online, to help people maintain physical and emotional wellbeing, using calming yoga practices.

Yoga is a traditional Indian practice that supports physical and emotional health and wellbeing using movement, breath and relaxation. Yoga can be revitalising and help maintain a peaceful body and soul. Yoga may help to relieve aches and pains, improve strength, and help us cope better with feelings of stress, worry, anger, sadness and other challenging feelings.

As an experienced and qualified (Yoga Alliance Professionals UK) yoga instructor, I’m able to support wellness, including for expecting mothers, postnatal parents and their babies, children, and all adults. In the groups, I share effective yoga techniques that are beneficial during momentous, and sometimes challenging times of life. My classes help to gently maintain strength, relieve aches and pains and stretch out tension, as well offering time to practice relaxation and breathing. The sessions may help reduce stress by improving wellbeing in body and mind, giving opportunities to experience the many benefits that yoga can bring physically and emotionally.

In addition to my Birthlight* baby and postnatal yoga teacher qualification, I have an 85 hour pregnancy and postnatal yoga teacher certification from Sally Parkes Yoga which meets the standards of The Yoga Alliance Professionals (UK) and The Yoga Alliance US, and is also certified by the Federation of Antenatal Educators (FEDANT). I am a qualified Yoga Alliance Professionals (UK) Children’s yoga teacher.

Teaching a pregnancy yoga class that’s been running for over 15 years, I have been successfully supporting pregnant women to practice yoga movements and techniques for a positive pregnancy and birth.

After practicing yoga for many years, I trained to become a yoga instructor in 2017. I wanted to provide classes that share yoga methods, in a warm and sociable class environment. Giving people the time and space to nurture their body and mind, by sharing yoga practices in a group, is something I feel passionate about. Hoping to bring some calm and positivity to everyone’s day, my class is a welcoming space for adults, mums-to-be and all parents to connect and make friends with others. Interacting is very important, supportive and valuable for everyone, so I aim to facilitate a comfortable yoga space to enable that element of the sessions.

I’ve been practicing Hatha yoga regularly for several years. My inspiration may have come from my mum and my grandfather (her father), who have practiced yoga for much of their lives. I have a young daughter and son and I particularly connected with yoga throughout my two pregnancies, during labour and postnatally. I now enjoy doing yoga most days as it brings me physical and mental balance, strength, flexibility, clarity and peace.

I believe that yoga can be a way of life. Many guidelines that were created from traditional yoga philosophies can be implemented throughout daily life, to help us work towards a balanced, calm and content existence.

I teach pregnancy yoga, postnatal mum and baby yoga, yoga for parents, childrens yoga, and yoga for all and private 1-1 yoga classes.
