Yoga nidra is a deeply relaxing and therapeutic practice that is done in a lying down, comfortable position, using props such as your own cushion and blanket if desired.

It’s suitable for absolutely everyone, including beginners, those with conditions or injuries, and pregnant / postnatal women. It’s appropriate for all genders. Yoga nidra has a healing and calming effect, and can help reduce symptoms of stress, anxiety, trauma, depression, chronic pain, menopause, insomnia, a busy lifestyle challenging times, aches and pains, and much more. It is a highly deserved and indulgent activity, a sanctuary that is necessary for all souls on earth.

Yoga nidra is an ancient style of yoga practice that translates as ‘yogic sleep’. Throughout the hour session, you will lie down comfortably in a lowly lit, calming space. You’ll be guided by my voice to take your mind on a journey of tranquil body and breath awareness, reassuring intentions, and soothing visualisations. You are encouraged to stay awake throughout the session, but as it’s very peaceful, don’t worry if you drop off to sleep for short periods.

After yoga nidra, many people describe feeling deeply relaxed, calm, and wonderfully refreshed. This feeling may continue for hours, and maybe even days after the session.

Please bring a yoga mat, and any other props you might like such as a cushion and a blanket. Wear comfortable clothing.
